Activities and Societies: the Final Research Paper i Wrote, Which Ended UP Being Published in the &Quot;Opinopia, Theories and Philosophies of Art Education&Quot;, was Titled, &Quot;Inclusion: the Art Classroom is for All Children.&Quot; the Idea of Inclusion is Truly A Philosophy. it is Based on the Idea of Individualized Teaching. When i Taught Children on Saturdays for Two Semesters, i was Very Successful in This Approach. it is Amazing What Every Child is Capable of Creating, While at the Same Time, Gaining A True Sense of Belonging. This Idea of Returning to Siuc, Came Shortly After A Long Stay in Seattle. i Basically Went to Seattle to Keep an Appointment That had Been Previously Set with the Dean and Some Professors at the Seattle Art Institute. After Many Interviews with This Particular Group, i was Offered A Partial Scholarship Into the Drawing for Communications Program. This was an Opportunity That i Finally Ended UP Declining.I Soon Returned Home and Enrolled in Art Education for Children at Siuc. Here is Where i Discovered A New Found Passion. Teaching Art to Children. This is Where i Truly Implemented MY Beliefs on the Subject of Inclusion. Show Less
Activities and Societies: Made the President'S List During Final Two Semesters. Explored in Different Areas Such As: Theatre, Criminal Justice, Logistics, Philosophy and Music Business. Soon.
Activities and Societies: Golf - Tennis - Key Club During MY Senior Year of High School, i Only had to Attend Three Morning Classes A Day. This was Due to the Fact That i had Earned the Required Hours That i Needed to Graduate. Thanks to the Mia-Pow Scholarship, That was Actually Earned Through MY Father'S Time in the Service, i Enrolled at John A. Logan College. Only A Few Students Received the Same Scholarship That i had Received, and They Too Enrolled at the Same College. After the Morning Classes, i would Leave High School to Attend the Classes That i had Chosen at John A. Logan. This Definitely Allowed ME to Get A Head Start in College as Well as an Unexpected Education in A New Environment That Clearly to ME i was not Prepared For. the Experience in All Areas of This Transition were Truly Needed.
